Directive 8020 Collectibles | Edition Content & Tracking Guide

Start by identifying which content you own. A location guide is only useful when it refers to the same edition, version and story progress as your save.

What is officially described

The Steam deluxe upgrade describes additional Dark Pictures collectibles, including figures from earlier anthology games. Its page says the Steam base game is required. This establishes the extra content, not a complete map of every item in the main game.

Check your edition before searching

  • Confirm the base game and add-ons shown in your library.
  • Read the listing for your own platform rather than assuming every package uses identical names.
  • Distinguish an edition bonus from a main-story collectible.
  • Check whether the relevant content is available in your installed version.

Build a useful collection record

For each item, note its in-game name, chapter, nearby objective, required prior choices and whether it is recorded as collected. A screenshot or save reference can make a location reproducible. Keep item discoveries separate from untested trophy requirements.

About the old total and locations

The previous claim of 65 items and its sample room locations were not backed by a checked official location list, so they are no longer presented as a completed route. This does not establish that those rooms or items cannot exist. Exact counts and routes need direct verification.

Planning a return visit

Before replaying, review your play style and available Turning Points. A supported rewind feature does not prove that every collectible is recoverable from every checkpoint. Confirm the item’s actual state after your attempt.
