Corinth and the mission
LaMarcus Williams is Corinth’s billionaire CEO. He comes from a wealthy Californian family and wants to establish a legacy of his own. Stafford and Bill Young’s Mars mission helped inspire his ambitions. His presence links the expedition to the company behind it, without making a corporate title proof of any hidden allegiance.
His view of humanity’s future
The official introduction presents Williams as convinced that Earth cannot be saved and that Corinth’s mission offers humanity a future. These beliefs make him a divisive public figure. They are background information, not evidence for a guaranteed result from shooting him, standing down or choosing a particular ending.
